Home life

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the communal kitchen or on the terrace if the weather permits, between 8:30 and 10:00.

Breakfast is included in your room rate except for the "Private Room" package, but you can request it upon reservation for €10 per person. We strive to offer you fresh, local products. You will be served a hot drink, fruit juice, homemade yogurt, bread, pastries, butter, jam, and homemade cakes or pancakes, depending on the day. If you have any dietary requirements, such as salty foods, allergies, or intolerances, please let me know in advance

If you have a time constraint, please let me know so that it can be served to you before your departure.

Tasting boards

We also offer personalized tasting platters, which are best reserved in advance so we can plan accordingly. We prioritize sourcing our produce from our own garden or from local producers and/or the local market, depending on the day.

You can enjoy an assortment of cold cuts, cheeses, country pâté, a mixed salad or soup depending on the season, country bread baked in a bread oven by our artisan baker friend, all accompanied by a glass of local wine.

These boards cost €20 per person

Settle into the communal kitchen or on the terrace to savor and enjoy a convivial and gourmet moment.

Eating in the rooms is strictly prohibited

Drinks

Various drinks are available in the shared kitchen refrigerator. I operate on a trusting basis with my guests, and if you would like a drink, please help yourself and let me know when you leave.

The beers come from the Brasserie Corrézienne and are sold at €3.50 and other drinks, Coca, Ice-Tea… at €2.50.

You'll always have fresh water available. Drinking water treated by an Eco Water reverse osmosis system is an excellent option for those seeking a pure and clean water source.

Lingerie

Bed linen and towels are provided. The Adrienroom, the only room with alotbathtub, has additional bathrobes.

Linen changes and cleaning services are available upon request.

In the dispensers of the walk-in showers, you'll find a hypoallergenic organic shower shampoo suitable for the whole family, as well as a hand wash gel dispenser, from the COSLYS Comptoir des Lys or Douce Nature brands, depending on availability at the CANOPY BIO store in Vignon en Quercy. Please note that we recommend limiting the use of these products. Due to the presence of an Ecowater water softener, shampoos and soaps will lather more, but your skin will be softer.

You will also receive a complimentary guest soap from a small family business. A display stand offers these same goat's milk soaps for sale in a classic size and in various fragrances.

A hairdryer is also available.

For families

A travel cot, a high chair, and two extra beds are available upon reservation. An additional charge of €15 per person per night will apply for each extra bed. Linen is also provided, and breakfast is included in this case.

Indoor and outdoor games are available in the conservatory for children and adults (board games, Mölkky, etc.). You can also use the lounge in the conservatory to read or take a break.

Activities

Upon your arrival we will introduce you to our region, where we both come from, using the tourist map which helps you find your way around.

Numerous tourist brochures are also available for your consultation in the conservatory lounge. To reduce paper usage, only a few copies are on display; thank you for your understanding.

An ideal playground for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, we'd be happy to give you personalized advice on routes for your hikes and bike rides. We offer two electric mountain bikes for rent at €15 per half-day, with the option to customize your route using a GPX track.

The swimming pool

The swimming pool is heated from April to October and uses a salt water system. It is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM; outside these hours, it is closed by a safety cover. During the day, your children are your sole responsibility.

Animals

Although we adore animals, the presence of our cats Donna & Jalla, our Golden Retriever Lester, and the Limousin cows that sometimes graze on the land next to the garden, means we are unable to accommodate your four-legged companions. We hope you understand this limitation.

Respect for the environment

Aware of the fragility of our environment, we strive for sustainable tourism that respects our region. We try to improve every day and have already taken steps in this direction: conserving resources (water, energy), reducing and sorting waste, choosing responsible and local products, promoting soft mobility, eating healthy and seasonal food, and raising awareness of best practices.

The waste is sorted. You will find recycling bins at the side of the building, near the parking lot.

A composter is located between the parking lot and the vegetable garden to make use of organic waste reused in the garden and/or vegetable garden.

All linens and towels are white to minimize sorting and washing. Cleaning is done almost entirely without cleaning products; I'm a big fan of H2OatHome products, and with microfiber cloths, 90% of household chores are done with just water!

During your stay, we encourage you to adopt practices that help protect our planet: don't let the water run unnecessarily, turn off the lights when leaving a room (the walkways and conservatory are equipped with motion detectors that will do this for you!), don't leave windows and/or doors open with the heating or air conditioning on, sort your waste, and buy local and seasonal produce. We have many farm shops and/or local markets where you can buy or take home local products.

At theallée des noyers you can also buy bags of walnut kernels or organic walnut oil from our eldest son's farm.
